The Bait Finesse System (BFS), also known as bait finesse or bait finesse fishing, is the fastest growing technique in the sport of bass fishing since forward facing sonar. In fact, forward facing sonar really helped bring this technique to the USA. A finesse fishing style that originated in Japan, it involves the use of specialized baitcasting reels and casting rods designed to enable anglers to cast ultralight lures typically reserved for spinning reels and rods. This technique allows for precise and delicate presentations, particularly effective in situations where a subtler approach is required to entice fish.
