Jawtec
Bruce was fishing at a Dallas bass club tournament with his father, Charles Benedict. They noticed this man was fishing with something that no one else could buy. Bruce, at the age of 14, then learned that the man was hand pouring his own fishing lures. This struck a nerve with Bruce; Once he saw the process himself, he knew that he was destined to design and manufacture custom fishing lures.
Fast forward to 1984 and Jawtec Baits opened their doors with custom colors and designs of baits. From many famous lures like the Chatter Box to the Original Wacky Craw, Bruce strived to stay on the cutting edge of design with his products.
In the early 2000's, Bruce needed to be more present in his family life outside of the business. Bruce shut down Jawtec to be a better husband and father.
Fast forward to today and Jawtec Bait Company was born. With new molds designed and produced by Colt Benedict and ran with the help of his wife Meagan.
